Knowledge Base
Search engines get used for programming a lot. Overall, that is a great thing. It makes programming more accessible to start learning, and it provides quick answers so remembering specific syntax becomes much less important. This lets people interested in learning to program focus on the core concepts required to make great software.
As a largely self-taught programmer myself, I found myself referencing the same StackOverflow answers again and again. There were specific commands that I would use only every few months, and I wouldn't remember the syntax or which package I was using, etc. I would bookmark these posts for quick reference. While this method worked for many years, it eventually became unsustainable. I needed something that was easier to search and find what I was looking for.
So I decided to create a knowledge base - a better place to document the things I need for quick reference. While selfishly, this is a reference for myself, I want it to be open as a resource for anyone else who may find themselves in a similar situation.
If you find this useful, please let me know. If you have feedback on how it could be a better resource, I'd love to hear that as well.
Happy programming!
